Center/Sylvester School began Inclusive Schools Week with a whole school reading of R.J. Palacio’s picture book, We’re All Wonders. They continued the celebration in Information Technology by selecting a quote from another of Palacio’s books, 365 Days of Wonder. These were used to create posters to hang in our schools to serve as a daily reminder to celebrate differences, choose a path to be proud of, persevere, and always treat others with kindness. Their projects are fantastic, the skills they learned impressive, but the messages greeting the students, staff and visitors of Center/Sylvester School are nothing short of spectacular. Check out what the students were able to accomplish with nothing more than a blank page and one of Google’s free apps, Drawing. I'm sure you will be as proud of these 3rd graders as I am!
