SCRATCH
3rd and 4th grade took on a big challenge: creating accounts and resetting passwords and beginning a tutorial in the SCRATCH program. There will be more exciting images and projects to share soon as they have an opportunity to explore the program further next week. Students are encouraged to continue exploring on their own. The possibilities of what they can program/create are limited only by their imaginations!!! Logging in will ensure their projects are saved and stored in one location, but they don't need to use their school account to create. Click Here to go to Scratch. |
Osmo Coding
Grade 2 kicked off their Hour of Code experience with Osmo. Special thanks to the Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment and the Center/Sylvester PTA for purchasing the materials needed for this exciting coding opportunity. It adds a whole new level of collaboration among the students, promoting good communication and excellent problem solving skills!!!
